If working on your game is your idea of fun, then Manatee has the facilities where you can practice from dawn to dusk. Work on your swing at our multi-station driving range, or practice your short game on our well-maintained chipping and putting greens.

You can also work with our Class A PGA Professionals to help perfect your game. They say “practice makes perfect,” but only if you’re practicing perfectly with one of our respected golf professionals. With credentials that you can brag about, trust our staff of professionals at Manatee to put your game in its best possible shape.

Scott’s current positions are Director of Golf at Inspiration Academy, Senior Instructor for VIP Golf Schools and Lead Consultant for Premiere Golf Academy in Vancouver Canada. The previous 4 years Scott was a Partner and Golf Coach at the Missing Link Golf Academy located in Lakewood Ranch Florida. The majority of his career from 1999- 2021 Scott was a Performance Coach at IMG Academies in Bradenton Florida. While at IMG he coached multiple professional golfers including both men and women that play on tours all over the world including Julieta Granada the winner of the first million-dollar prize on the LPGA Tour. He has been responsible for training hundreds of students to become more recruitable that are placed into Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 Universities in the United States.

About Scott

Scott’s Passion for golf started as a junior in Westerly, Rhode Island where that lead to moving to Orlando Florida and graduating from the Golf Academy of the South in 1994. He spent 4 years in the golf business working at Miacomet Golf Club on Nantucket Island and Hanover Country Club at Dartmouth College. After the birth of his first son Jakob he and his wife Amy moved to Bradenton Florida to pursue a career in teaching golf at the David Leadbetter Junior Golf Academy. Scott’s mission is to identify every student’s strength and area for improvement. As a coach and mentor, he communicates their personal blueprint that enables them to become the best version of themselves.

Definition of Your Elite Swing

  1. Ability to swing all 13 clubs in the bag for a lifetime with Power , Consistency and Efficiency with the least chance of bodily injury.
  2. Achieved through an Anatomically Neutral Set Up, Connection of Arms to Body, Centered Body Rotation around a Stacked Spine and the Club-head Swinging on a Tilted Circle with Centripetal Force.
  3. With Proper Geometry the Physics will create the Power and Consistency.

  2. Introduce Ball with Drills and Shorter, Softer Swings
  3. Calibrate a Ball Flight with Upgraded Motion
